The Kalaeco Chronicles – 4 – A Tight Timeline
Did you ever have one of those days where you become too much of a sceptic and start questioning your own decision? Well, today was that day for me. In yesterday’s Instagram Live, I announced the relaunch of Kalaeco for 19th July 2020. And now I am shivering with the doubt of whether or not I will be able to complete it on time.
The Backstory
Not exactly a backstory, I shouldn’t call it a back story. If anything it is THE Story. So, the story is this that in my IGTV Live video this Wednesday, I announced the Relaunch date of Kalaeco’s website. And it is due in 3 days. And the more I work around it, I realise that I have a LOT of work to do. And did I mention I have just 3 days? Yeah, So that’s it.
New Challenges
I am planning to restructure some of the old content, with some relatively better infrastructure. And hence, I have to ‘re-build’ some of the stuff from start. Which is taking longer than estimated. Plus, a fresh design language is never something that looks pretty the first time, so I am constantly trying to adjust it to my liking.
Does it mean I will postpone it?
Nope. Definitely not. Maybe it will be a soft start with updates coming regularly to the layout and platform until it is final. But still, it will be on the same date, i.e., 19th July. And the plan is to make it complete by the time. With all the elements, content and design. (Apart from the elements that I intentionally want to drip out over the next few weeks).
So, in short, this was just an update post of the Kalaeco Relaunch project. And just a message to myself, that I have a lot on the slate, and a lot on my plate. But, I will eat it all, #InTime. The timeline stands unchanged. Expect the website to go live at 7 PM on 19th July 2020.
